How are you all doing?
I figured out that you guys all have to improve your English and that I also need to improve my written English, so I decided to write the first English-speaking article of this blog.
Almost 2 weeks passed since the last article. What happened during that time? Here are some categorized news about your Californian reporter, live from the garden of his house, sitting in the sun with a Coke.

Let’s start with work…
Nothing special, I’m still working on the oil injection project. My boss is cool. A guy retired on Friday, and as the company is happy that he decided to leave himself instead of beingfired in these tough economic times, he will receive the fantastic amount of two weeks of salary…Nothing to compare with France…
Ok, work is fine, but what about trips?
No big trips in the last two weeks, but we are currently planning to go to Las Vegas and maybe Mexico in March, and to go to Hawaii for a week in April… Stay tuned!
What else?
-I confirmed my inscription to HEC Paris next year. I had to refuse the ESSEC an the EM Lyon... Come on!
-We went last Saturday to the Factory Outlets, and damn this place is really amazing. I got two fragrances for the price of a small one in France. We are getting back there this afternoon.
-I restarted the “Pure force program” (Note: a cultural movie reference is needed to understand. Hint: Peter Mac Calloway).
-The weather is getting better, but there are still a few cloudy days. It’s warm enough for February (around 25°C right now)
-Yesterday night we had a cowboy night. We started going to the Bandits (a bar/steakhouse where everyone throws peanuts on the floor and almost look like a cowboy) and finished at the Borderline (usually called “the cowboy night club”, but actually that wasn’t a county or cowboy group playing, it was just rock). The two of us ended up being “very happy”.

And that’s it. I’m sorry about the lack of pictures, but there was nothing fantastic to catch.
See you guys later!
